FastPivot's Jonathan Poston Presents on Social Media for Blue Ridge Mountain Host

FastPivot’s Director of Social Media Communications, Jonathan Poston, presented on “Social Media Marketing” for Blue Ridge Mountain Host‘s monthly board meeting today. In attendance were officers of the board and a number of guests from the general membership.

According to their website, Blue Ridge Mountain Host has over 190 business members from the following NC counties: Buncombe, Burke, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania, and Yancey counties. Members reach thousands of potential visitors through the organization’s cooperative marketing programs. Tourism & travel industry members include museums, attractions, festivals, spas, summer camps, shops, wineries, golf clubs, etc.

During his 30 minute presentation, Poston discussed the top social media platforms, how to best implement social media campaigns, and measure subsequent ROI. After the presentation, Poston spent some time answering questions, and then thanked everyone for the opportunity to share. A special thanks to Elly Wells and Del Holston for the invitation to FastPivot to present to the board.
