How to Check Your Yahoo! Online Store's Mobile Traffic on Google Analytics or Yahoo! Analytics

As we’ve mentioned in previous blogs, it’s important to know how to check to see how much mobile traffic you’re online store is getting, especially if you’re considering upgrading your standard ecommerce store to mobile.

FastPivot recently created a free mobile analytics video guide to checking your mobile traffic from both Yahoo! Analytics and Google Analytics.

When many online store merchants check their mobile traffic, they see that 2-5% of their traffic is mobile. Because mobile shoppers have a difficult time shopping from a regular ecommerce store from their mobile smart phone, it’s important to upgrade to mobile if you want to convert more of that 2-5% mobile traffic. Your mobile store may look great on a 17′ monitor but poor on a 3′ touch screen. Ultimately, you’re not converting as well as you can with these shoppers if you don’t provide them with a mobile store through which they can browse easily.

If you’d like to see the difference upgrading to a mobile store makes, boot up your iphone, android etc. and visit these stores FastPivot recently upgraded to mobile: Candywarehouse.com, Titanium-Jewelry.com, WorldSoccerShop.com, SensoryEdge.com (View them on your large monitor for comparison).
