We’ve gotten word that, with the help of his friends and local business donations, approximately $5000 was raised for Brad Smith at last weekend’s silent auction.
Local businesses that provided donations and support included: Foot Rx, FastPivot,¬† Liberty Bikes, Carolina Fatz, Sycamore Cycles, Jus’ Running, Asheville Tri Club, Biowheels, Hearns Cycling, Industry 9, Ultimate Direction, Chi Living, Have a Cup of Coffee, Highland Lake Inn, The Rush, Asheville Women’s Cycling, Blue Ridge Cross Fit, Andy Grabowski, CTS, GloryHoundEvents,& Ski Country .
Smith, an Asheville-based triathlete was recently injured in a cycling accident and is unable to feel his legs. Everyone is trying to help him and his family with the expense of medical equipment, other bills etc.
