FastPivot.com’s team of custom Yahoo! store design specialists recently launched a number of WorldSoccershop.com feature redesigns. Take a sneak peek at the following upgrades:
1. Category item sorting: This feature allows the shopper to dynamically sort the page results without reloading the page. This creates a faster user experience, and helps customers find what they’re looking for quickly.
2. Jersey customization area: Customizations area allows store owner to flag items for customization and then creates this input area for shoppers to make their jersey unique.  Options selected by customer effect price, and are passed into cart for fulfillment.
3. World Cup landing page with interactive facebook area at bottom: Facebook code embed on page pulls latest news feed and shows fans from WorldSoccerShop’s facebook account.  This keeps the page dynamic & fresh, and helps promote interactivity.
4. Home page banner rotator area / can be exchanged for video player: Versatile coding allows top area of home page to display banners which are controlled outside of the Yahoo store.  This permits the store owner to change banners/promotions instantly, without needing to publish the Yahoo store.  This area can also be switched over to display video instead of the rotating promotions.
5. Subsection dropdown menus to allow customers to skip a level of navigation: Submenus for categories where applicable allow shoppers to get where they’re going faster. Mouse over ‘sale’, for example, and you see the subcategories.  This increases speed for shoppers by permitting them to skip levels of subnavigation while browsing the store.
6. SLI systems integrated leftnav search with autocomplete (partner tool): Provided by partner SLI systems, advanced search helps shoppers find what they’re looking for.
Features:
* Autocomplete in search box runs off other popular search terms to help shoppers with spelling or simply to know what to search for. (Type in ‘AC’ for example)
* After arrival on search results page, leftnav allows you to filter down your results by size, price range, brand, color, etc.
* Sorting options at top of result set allow you to change the order of results, so the shopper can float what he/she is looking for to the top of the list
There’s only so much insight these aforementioned details can offer. We encourage you to head over to WorldSoccerShop.com for a more in-depth look at the fully completed store.
