FastPivot’s Director of Social Media, Jonathan Poston, will be leading a “Marketing & Social Media for Non-profits” training workshop on behalf of Duke University Non-Profit Management Program for the Harvest Foundation.
The workshop will be held on June 21, 2011 at the New College Institute, 30 Franklin Street Courthouse Square, Martinsville, VA from 9am-2pm. Attendees will learn how to better use social media to enhance fundraising and marketing campaigns. Discussion will revolve around the most useful social media platforms, effective social media strategies (Site integration tips, SEO, conversion, etc.), policy, budgeting, and planning. By the end of this class, participants should know how to develop a social media road map with short-term and long-term goals in mind.
FastPivot’s last Duke Non-Profit Management workshop was a huge success; one we are confident will be repeated at next week’s social media workshop.
