FastPivot’s Jonathan Poston will be presenting on Social Media Road-Mapping for non-profit organizations at this (see below) upcoming (September 9th, 2010) Asheville NC-based Duke University Non-Profit Management Workshop. This social media workshop is one of many Duke University Non-Profit workshops that non-profit leaders will be attending in order to complete the distinguished Duke University Non-Profit Management Certification.
It gives us great pleasure to announce the names of local social media experts who have volunteered to serve on an afternoon panel for this social media workshop. These experts will briefly introduce themselves, discuss how they use social media to accomplish marketing/fundraising/etc. goals, what tools they use to measure social media success, and what social media strategies have and have not worked.
2:00-2:20 pm –¬† J. Clarkson‚Äôs professional experience includes over 10 years of work on annual, capital, endowment, planned giving, and communications projects as a staff member at Christ School, Arden; Warren Wilson College; and Sims & Steele Consulting. Ledford, who firmly believes in connecting globally while acting locally, says, “Social media makes the world a much smaller place, helping connect people and resources is a blast!”
