Responsibilities:
The Web Graphic Designer is responsible for the
development of graphic Web designs for multiple
ecommerce projects, and reviewing work with Project
Manager and Client while assisting in the decision
making process for the project.
Responsible for prioritizing work, adhering to
production deadlines to ensure timely completion
of projects. Communicates status regularly at
each phase of the project and works under the
guidance of the Project Manager in each phase
of the design process.
- Assists in the development of graphic web
designs for client ecommerce website projects.
- Produces artwork necessary for all components
of client sites.
- May create promotional elements and artwork
requested by Sr. Management.
- Develops web page design mockups, adhering
to specific instructions and directions given
during client communication while staying within
the Statement of Work documentation.
- Participates in the development and maintenance
of design templates, creative processes and
routing/review schedule.
- Analyzes client requests and make recommendations
for updates, changes or redesigns of said requests
so as to adhere to ecommerce best practices.
Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of graphic arts pertaining
to online ecommerce equivalent to a university
degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency
in computer software for design creation. Proficient
in PhotoShop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Flash.
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communications skills required. Review
of personal graphics portfolio required for review.
