Check Out FastPivot’s New Look

Ecommerce

Over the weekend, FastPivot relaunched with a better, brighter look and easier to navigate website. It’s amazing how cluttered things can get and worn a certain look becomes after only a couple of years. We always suggest to our clients that a major overhaul or redesign should happen at least every couple of years, so our own was just a matter of following that ecommerce best practice.

Here’s a screenshot (click to go to the live site) below of the FastPivot’s new homepage:

    Jonathan,
I want to start by saying I thoroughly enjoyed your blogs over the last few months, keep up the good work. Regarding the new look and fell of your new homepage. I’m not very impressed. After reading your blog I scrolled down not knowing what I was looking at so I re-read the blog thinking I had missed something. It took me a minute to realize that this was the new homepage. I couldn’t tell what your selling and to be very honest I don’t like moving banners, very distracting. Maybe Google likes them but I don’t. Couldn’t tell if your site was for some trade show or a cell phone seller or where you selling something called 360. Again at first glance I couldn’t tell what you had to offer. I’ve know who FastPivot is for many years even back when it was call the Ystore. I was still lost looking at the new home page. I really don’t care “what your customers say” being we both know its altered verbiage.
Didn’t know where to go next on your site being I’m a Yahoo store owner of 5 years that needs help. Our site need a revamping or a makeover or something to increase sale. My accountant has been telling me for the last 5 years that the web site is a big black hole and we lose money each year just having it. So this is the make or break year for our site. Our selling season starts in September and runs through March.
One more thing, the name FastPivot, sounds like your manufacturing ball bearing or something like that. I thought the name of the site was supposed to reflect what you where selling or offering.
Just my thoughts and again keep up the good work.
    Thanks
    Keith

Keith: Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, and it’s great to hear that you’ve been finding the blog useful. Any website is always a work of progress- I’ll be bringing your comments to our dev. team for consideration. It is important to note here that we don’t alter testimonials. Those providing quotes have, in many cases, counted on us for years and believe 100% in our work.
