Responsibilities:
The eBusiness Consultant is responsible for the promotion and consultative sales of FastPivot services to clients and customers. The eBusiness Consultant acts as a liaison between FastPivot and new and existing clients to strive to meet and exceed the needs of the customer. They will be responsible for maintaining, contacting and building relationships based on trust and integrity.
Primary Functions: The eBusiness Consultant will identify the needs of a client and provide an opportunity for those needs to be met through the purchase of product or service. They will guide a potential customer to discovering their needs and then offer the best possible solution to make sure the client's needs are fulfilled. More specifically, an eBusiness Consultant will do the following:Provide service and individual attention to customers by analyzing client requests and making recommendations for updates, changes or re-designs according to FastPivot standards and e-commerce best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Make sales calls and contact with potential and existing customers
- Track and maintain new customer leads and existing clients in SalesForce
- Generate sales leads by using creative and new sales techniques
- Participate in the development and presentation of sales proposals to clients.
- Keep records of all interaction with customers through SalesForce, regardless of the outcome of a sale
- Remain updated on FastPivot services and product knowledge
- Seek opportunities to consistently learn and train
- Interact on a daily basis with FastPivot team members, Management, Business Clients, External
- Customers for follow-up & follow-through, and prioritize effort.
- Be part of the extended Marketing and Sales Support team for acquiring new customers as necessary.
- Understand connection between web and admin office ("talk the language")
- Develop expertise and skill in specific areas of specialization worthy of direct client investment in billable hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in E-commerce/Customer-facing environment
- E-Business savvy, experience in technology innovation
- Very detail oriented with ability to think clearly and operate in a virtual team environment
- Strong collaborative, analytical, problem solving, planning and organizing, and change management skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful and creative problem solver
- Proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
- Business acumen and excellent soft skills to effectively communicate with variety of audience
- Programming Staff, Management, Administrative Staff, Business Clients, and External Customers
- Proficient PC skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; SalesForce, GoogleDocs, Social Medium such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook
- Expert in online subject matter, SEO, Internet, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working in a virtual team environment
- Outgoing, energetic, confident, caring, knowledgeable and organized
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Foreign language/multi-lingual a plus!
