FastPivot's Female Team Rocks www.redkoala.com
Recently meeting Red
Koala Canvas Company’s founder Abby Port in
person, was an incredible experience. Chosen as
a finalist in the Seeds
for Success Contest, sponsored by Yahoo! Small
Business, she was in need of a fresh, clean and
customized web site and FastPivot was ready to
help. As one of the internet design and development
companies sponsoring this contest, and within
driving distance of Atlanta, we presented the
first round of design in person in May.
In June, a “light” site was launched on Yahoo!
Merchant Solutions, enabling Abby to announce
her new site and begin selling t-shirts with some
of the artist’s designs while work on the canvas
configurator was being completed. On July 29,
Red Koala Canvas
Company launched the fully-functional, gorgeous
site, www.redkoala.com.
Here’s what makes this store
special: you can create a customized wall
canvas for yourself, your kids or your friends
through a nifty tool that lets you to choose an
image, pick a background color, add text and more.
You can submit your child’s own artwork to have
placed on canvas or choose from a collection of
awesome images painted by artists. Go to RedKoala.com
to give it a whirl.
FastPivot is thrilled to be a part of the Yahoo!
Seeds for Success Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
Contest and we are excited to watch Abby go after
her dreams.

Checkout Manager Migration Information
The
August 15, 2008 Checkout Manager migration deadline
will be here very soon. Merchants still using
older versions of checkout (Order Forms) must
move to Checkout Manager by August 15.
Stores that have not moved to Checkout Manager
by this date will be automatically migrated,
but not republished. All merchants are reminded
that Order Settings MUST be republished following
migration. If
you do not republish your Order Settings, your
store will not be able to accept orders once
the old checkout servers are shut down.
What resources are available to help
with the migration?
Information about how to migrate from Order
Forms to Checkout Manager is available in the
Checkout Manager Testing
and Enabling section of online help. To
learn more about Checkout Manager's features
and functions, you can consult Checkout
Manager help, and download the Getting
Started with Checkout Manager Guide.
Where can I find developers to help me migrate?
FastPivot
is a developer from the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions
Developer Network that can help with migration
and is anauthorized partner capable of assisting
with this change.
What happens if I do not move to Checkout
Manager before the end of the migration period?
All stores still using older versions of checkout
will be migrated to Checkout Manager at the
end of the migration period, but your Order
Settings will not be republished. If you do
not republish Order Settings after being moved
to Checkout Manager, your store's checkout will
only function until the old checkout servers
are shut down within two weeks of the migration.
What happens if I do not republish following
the shutdown of the older checkout systems?
If you don't republish Order Settings after
moving to Checkout Manager, your store's checkout
will not function once the older checkout systems
are shut down. Once Order Settings are republished,
your checkout will again become functional.
For more information about customizing your
cart, why themigration is necessary and the
benefits of Checkout Manager, please go to the
full article at the Ystore
Blog.
