We are pretty excited to be heading west to lovely WARM Los Angeles!
By invitation, Fastpivot is fortunate to participate in the conference doing both site consultations and engaging with the audience on the topics of strategy, usability and design. Grant Henry will be providing site consultations and Matt Ledford is co-facilitating an interactive session.
We get mobile usability and site design here at FastPivot. So much so that the organizers of the Internet Retailer IRCE Focus: Digital Design Conference in Los Angeles reached out to us to speak on site usability this week.
If you are at the show, you can hear FastPivot CEO Matt Ledford in a new interactive presentation called Live Test Drives: Learn in Real Time How Consumers Can Shop Your Site – Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 3:00pm-3:45pm.
Here is what Matt Ledford and his co-presenter Danielle Savin of Lyons Consulting Group will explore:
“You have a great site – it’s easy to navigate and even your grandmother can find her way around it. But is it as great as you think? This is your chance to put your site to consumer scrutiny. Volunteers from the audience will call up attendees’ sites and perform tasks assigned to them by design and merchandising experts. The audience will be able to see how well consumers visiting your site for the first time navigate and reach the shopping cart. Our experts will provide advice on design changes that could smooth the process.”
If you haven’t factored mobile usability in your ecommerce strategy, revisit that decision as soon as possible. Mobile is here to stay, and Matt’s presentation Wednesday will cover many of the ways to make the best of your small screen retailing opportunity.
We always enjoy IRCE events – meeting with clients old and making new friends and connections! Our thanks to Executive Editor, Kurt Peters and Senior Editor, Conferences, Mary Wagner for the opportunity and continued confidence over the years!

Are you and your team going? If you are/were what do you hope to learn there?
