Production Engineer
Responsibilities:
The Production Engineer may work within both graphics
and programming capacities depending on expertise
and work load. They work closely with their team
to complete assigned projects or project tasks
within a given time line. They track, manage and
communicate progress on all assigned projects.
This role is responsible for maintaining client
satisfaction during the relationship and success
relies heavily on the Production Engineer’s
ability to communicate, set, and maintain clear
expectations with everyone involved. The Production
Engineer needs to have a competent understanding
of all aspects of planning and delivering an ecommerce
solution, including: contracts, store architecture
and development, and current technologies. They
communicate with both client and Ydesigns.com
Inc. team to meet client expectations while staying
within the posted Statement of Work. They report
directly to their Team Leader/Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
required. Must have at least 2 years Internet/ecommerce
programming experience.
- Expert programming skills in HTML, JavaScript,
CSS required. Experience with PHP, MySql, and/or
RTML a plus.
- Must be proficient in hand coding websites.
- Must be familiar with Adobe Photoshop and
the Macromedia suite of graphic applications.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks while
attending to multiple projects.
- Must be able to work within deadlines while
staying within a budget.
- Must have an eye for detail and style.
- Must be able to troubleshoot browser compatibility
issues.
- Must always be a proactive problem solver
while keeping the customer and their budget
in mind.
- Excellent communications skills required.
